Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 2-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warrior Run for a Heartland III challenge on Friday, May 17. Bloomsburg will battle a Defenders squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Defenders record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Milton falls to 4-14 on the campaign.
