The Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) softball nipped the visiting Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN), 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Rebels (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 15-5 record. In their last bout, Chaska held off St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN), 12-11, in a league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Rogers for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 16. Wayzata will confront a Royals squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Royals record now stands at 17-2.
