Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Storm now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Louis Park for a Metro West challenge on Thursday, May 16. Chanhassen will battle a Orioles squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Orioles record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Southwest Christian falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN) to battle the White Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. The White Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 5-11. Mound-Westonka won 17-7 in their recent league challenge against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN)
