In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Frankton Eagles softball team scored a close 2-0 win over the Jay County Patriots.

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Madison-Grant Argylls (Fairmount, IN) in a Central Indiana outing, on Thursday, May 16. Frankton will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Argylls enter the outing with a 16-8 record after their 11-0 league win over Elwood (Elwood, IN).

The Patriots (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Huntington North (Huntington, IN). The Vikings enter the non-league outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, Huntington North tipped New Haven (New Haven, IN), 21-1, in a league outing.
