The Jordan-Matthews Jets routed the host Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Jets (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Midway (Dunn, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Midway nudged South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 17-4 record.
