Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Dragons now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18.

With the loss, Manchester falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Red hawks host Bolton (Bolton, CT) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 17. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-10.
