The Booneville Bearcats (Booneville, AR) baseball got by the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perryville for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. Booneville will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Smackover (Smackover, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-6.

With the defeat, Walnut Ridge drops to 21-10 on the year.
