The Mt. Pleasant Oilers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers to 6 in the Oilers league win on Thursday.

The Oilers now hold a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Big Rapids for a non-league test on Monday, May 19.

With the defeat, Carman-Ainsworth drops to 1-14 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Corunna (Corunna, MI) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 21. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 1-14.
