The Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) baseball the visiting Weston Trojans (Weston, CT), 5-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bethel for a Southwest challenge on Monday, May 19. Pomperaug will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 league win over Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-2.

With the defeat, Weston drops to 5-11 on the year. The Trojans host New Milford (New Milford, CT) to clash with the Green Wave in a Southwest challenge on Sunday, May 18. The Green Wave go into the challenge with a record of 11-5. New Milford won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Immaculate (Danbury, CT)
