Ohio High School Baseball - St. John wallops Pymatuning Valley

The St. John Fighting Herald baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Pymatuning Valley Lakers to 2 in the Fighting Herald league win on Thursday.

The Fighting Herald now hold a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson Area for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. St. John will play a Falcons team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Struthers (Struthers, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 11-7.

With the defeat, Pymatuning Valley drops to 15-5 on the year. The Lakers host Madison (Madison, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league test on Friday, May 16. The Blue Streaks go into the test with a record of 14-4. Madison won 15-8 in their recent non-league test against Brush (Lyndhurst, OH)
