Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Deep Creek moves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Bruins in a test on Tuesday, May 20. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 4-7.
The Braves now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host King's Fork for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 21.
