In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 win over the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars.
The Blue Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Westwood was nipped by Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ), 14-8, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars meet the Chatham Cougars (Chatham, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 17. Montclair Kimberley Academy will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 14-0 record after their 11-10 non-league win over Oak Knoll (Summit, NJ).
