Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Genesee Christian advances its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Soldiers travel to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI) to clash with the Martians in a Genesee Area test on Monday, May 19. The Martians come into the test with a record of 12-2.

The Cavaliers now have a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kearsley for a non-league test on Monday, May 19.
