In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Cary-Grove Trojans lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 triumph over the Huntley Red Raiders.
The Trojans (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators go into the contest with a 3-1 record.
Next, the Red Raiders meet the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 17. Huntley will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 5-12 record after their 4-4 non-league Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL).
