The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) and the visiting Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME), observed Messalonskee's softball team get by Brewer by a tally of 11-4.

The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Mt. Ararat was routed by Brunswick (Brunswick, ME), 16-14, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Witches clash with the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 24. Brewer will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
