Kentucky High School Softball - Montgomery County succumbs to Western Hills

May 15, 2025: Frankfort, KY 40601

In Thursday's non-league test, the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY), by a tally of 13-2.

Next, the Wolverines clash with the Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 16. Western Hills will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Marion County (Lebanon, KY).

The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Estill County was routed by George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY), 1-0, in a non-league test.
