In Thursday's non-league test, the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) lacrosse team edged the host Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA), by a count of 9-8.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Monday, May 19. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the test with a 10-2 record after their 6-5 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
The Jaguars (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Hanover got by Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA), 20-1, in a league test.
