In Thursday's league match, the Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) lacrosse team triumphed over the host Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), by a tally of 11-4.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 17. Sparta will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 12-3 record after their 8-6 league win over Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ).
