In Thursday's league outing, the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Amelia County Raiders.
The Statesmen (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars go into the James River outing with a 5-5 record.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a James River outing, on Monday, May 19. Amelia County will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Chargers go into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 4-1 league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).
