The Barberton Magics softball squad (Barberton, OH), was routed 22-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH)

With the triumph, Archbishop Hoban improves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Ellet (Akron, OH) to face the Orangemen in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 20. The Orangemen enter the contest with a record of 17-5.

The Magics now hold a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Highland for a Suburban - American contest on Saturday, May 17. Barberton will face a Hornets squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 6-14.
