The Elmwood Park Tigers softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Aurora East Tomcats to 0 in the Tigers league win on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Chicago for a Upstate Eight battle on Monday, May 19. Elmwood Park will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-10.

With the loss, Aurora East moves to 1-21 on the season. The Tomcats host Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to confront the Sabres in a Upstate Eight battle on Friday, May 16. The Sabres come into the battle with a record of 2-20. Streamwood lost 25-0 in their recent league battle against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL)
