St. James Saints (St. James, MN) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN), 2-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. James improves its record to 14-6 on the year.
The Tigers now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Worthington for a non-league game on Friday, May 16. Belle Plaine will play a Trojans squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Windom (Windom, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 5-13.
