In Thursday's non-league match, the host Cromwell Panthers softball team scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Bolton Bulldogs.
The Panthers (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Westbrook (Westbrook, CT). The Knights go into the Shoreline - Large match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Westbrook was routed by Hale Ray (Moodus, CT), 5-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 19. Bolton will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record.
