In Thursday's league match, the visiting Boyne Falls Loggers softball team scored a tight 9-6 win over the Wolverine Wildcats.

The Loggers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI). The Comets come into the non-league match with a 3-5 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Atlanta Huskies (Atlanta, MI) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 19. Wolverine will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Huskies come into the match with a 10-3 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Alanson (Alanson, MI).
