The Christian Academy Warriors softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Cannelton Bulldogs to 2 in the Warriors non-league win on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Lutheran for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 20. Christian Academy will confront a Cougars team coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Milan (Milan, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Cannelton moves to 1-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN) to battle the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, May 19. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 8-6. Wood Memorial won 15-7 in their recent non-league match against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN)
