North Carolina High School Softball - Cleveland bounces Gray's Creek

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) and the visiting Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), observed Cleveland's softball team get by Gray's Creek by a final score of 5-1.

The Rams (19-4) will now prepare for their bout against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 16-7 record. In their last bout, Garner tipped Laney (Wilmington, NC), 14-2, in a non-league battle.

With the loss, Gray's Creek moves to 22-4 on the season.
