Michigan High School Softball - New Lothrop bounces Durand

The New Lothrop Hornets softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Durand Railroaders to 0 in the Hornets league win on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powers Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. New Lothrop will confront a Chargers team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 2-15.

With the loss, Durand moves to 6-7 on the season. The Railroaders host Alma (Alma, MI) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 6-5.
