The Northmor Golden Knights softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Elgin Comets to 3 in the Golden Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Northmor improves its record to 13-11 on the year. The Golden Knights host North Union (Richwood, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, May 19. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 11-12.

The Comets now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central game on Monday, May 19. Elgin will play a Polar Bears squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 15-6.
