Indiana High School Softball - Jennings County knocked off by Floyd Central

May 15, 2025: North Vernon, IN 47265

In Thursday's league test, the Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), by a tally of 13-0.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 22. Floyd Central will attempt to advance on its 22-4 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 17-9 record after their 22-12 non-league loss to Avon (Avon, IN).

The Panthers (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Charlestown (Charlestown, IN). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Charlestown toppled Eastern (Pekin, IN), 11-1, in a league test.
