The Lakeside Lancers (Lake Elsinore, CA) softball routed the visiting Fontana Steelers (Fontana, CA), 10-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Lancers now sport a 12-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yucca Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 17. Lakeside will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-9.

With the loss, Fontana moves to 13-11 on the season.
