Indiana High School Softball - Gibson Southern gets by Tell City

In Thursday's league match, the host Gibson Southern Titans softball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Tell City Marksmen.
The Titans (16-8) will now prepare for their match against Pike Central (Petersburg, IN). The Chargers go into the Pocket match with a 1-12 record. In their last match, Pike Central was nipped by Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN), 10-6, in a league match.
In their next game, the Marksmen battle the Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) in a Pocket match, on Friday, May 16. Tell City will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Hatchets go into the match with a 2-17 record after their 11-5 league loss to South Spencer (Rockport, IN).
