The Hillman Tigers triumphed over the host Rogers City Hurons softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 27. Hillman will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Glenn (Bay City, MI).

The Hurons (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Valley Lutheran was routed by Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI), 17-1, in a non-league challenge.
