Massachusetts High School Softball - Mount Greylock Regional can't get by Hoosac Valley

The Hoosac Valley Hurricanes edged the visiting Mount Greylock Regional Mounties softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Hurricanes meet the McCann Tech Hornets (North Adams, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 16. Hoosac Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Drury (North Adams, MA).
The Mounties (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Monument Mountain (Great Barrington, MA). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Monument Mountain edged Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA), 11-4, in a non-league challenge.
