The Pierz Pioneers baseball team scored 23 runs and held the host Osakis Silverstreaks to 4 in the Pioneers non-league win on Friday.

The Pioneers now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Holdingford for a Central Minnesota test on Monday, May 18. Pierz will clash with a Huskers team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Huskers record now stands at 17-4.

With the defeat, Osakis drops to 3-14 on the year. The Silverstreaks travel to Royalton (Royalton, MN) to clash with the Royals in a Prairie test on Monday, May 18. The Royals go into the test with a record of 9-8. Royalton lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Upsala/Swanville (Upsala, MN)
