The Providence Catholic Celtics baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks to 6 in the Celtics non-league win on Friday.

The Celtics now own a 17-14 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgewood for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 19. Providence Catholic will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Rebels record now stands at 14-15.

With the defeat, St. Patrick drops to 12-16 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL) to clash with the Roadrunners in a East Suburban Catholic test on Saturday, May 16. The Roadrunners go into the test with a record of 20-9. Nazareth Academy won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Westmont (Westmont, IL)
