The Rebels now own a 27-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodlawn for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 16. Riverside will clash with a Bears team coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Bigelow (Bigelow, AR). The Bears record now stands at 28-6.
With the defeat, South Side drops to 23-9 on the year.
