With the triumph, Edsel Ford improves its record to 5-11 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Allen Park (Allen Park, MI) to play the Jaguars in a Downriver bout on Monday, May 18. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 19-8. Allen Park won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against Clinton (Clinton, MI)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) in a Western Wayne bout, on Monday, May 18. Annapolis will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 18-1 league loss to Garden City (Garden City, MI).
