Central Knights (Providence, RI) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 19-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Central improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI) to play the Eagles in a Division 3 game on Monday, May 18. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 4-11. Times Squared Academy lost 9-4 in their recent league game against Shea (Pawtucket, RI)

The Blue Wave now hold a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Juanita Sanchez Complex for a Division 3 outing on Monday, May 18. Hope will encounter a Cavaliers team coming off a 21-8 league win over Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-13.
