Alaska High School Softball - Houston succumbs to Wasilla

In Friday's non-league test, the Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK), by a tally of 17-8.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a Railbelt test, on Monday, May 18. Wasilla will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 22-2 record after their 24-0 non-league win over West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).

The Hawks (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Soldotna (Soldotna, AK). The Stars go into the Northern Lights test with a 14-2 record.
