The Loyalton Grizzlies softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Maxwell Panthers to 2 in the Grizzlies non-league win on Friday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Etna for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 19. Loyalton will encounter a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league win over Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Lions record now stands at 13-14.
