In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Bloomer Blackhawks baseball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the Somerset Spartans.
The Blackhawks (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI). The Mounders go into the non-league game with a 10-1 record.
The Spartans (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI). The Blackhawks go into the Middle Border game with a 12-4 record. In their last game, Baldwin-Woodville was overwhelmed by St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI), 7-5, in a league game.
