The Norwich Free Academy Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Griswold Wolverines to 4 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats (4-12) will now prepare for their match against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Indians go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division II match with a 4-14 record. In their last match, Montville tipped Wheeler (North Stonington, CT), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Wolverines (7-12) will now prepare for their match against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Colonels go into the non-league match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, Ledyard was overwhelmed by East Lyme (East Lyme, CT), 9-3, in a non-league match.
