The Swampscott Big Blue the visiting Masconomet Regional Chieftains baseball team by a tally of 4-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Big Blue now hold a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Winthrop for a Northeastern - South bout on Friday, May 20. Swampscott will face a Vikings team coming off a 4-3 league win over Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-7.
Next, the Chieftains face the Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA) in a Northeastern - North bout, on Wednesday, May 18. Masconomet Regional will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 9-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA).
