The Metamora Redbirds baseball team (Metamora, IL), was overwhelmed 13-5 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL)

The Pioneers now hold a 25-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moline for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 18. Normal University will confront a Maroons team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Maroons record now stands at 21-10.

Next, the Redbirds confront the Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 17. Metamora will attempt to advance on its 15-10 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 14-12 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL).
