Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, Wilmington upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA) to battle the Sailors in a District 10 Region 1 test on Wednesday, May 18. The Sailors come into the test with a record of 9-8. Lakeview lost 8-5 in their recent league test against Conneaut (Conneaut, OH)

With the defeat, Sharpsville falls to 14-2 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Hickory (Hermitage, PA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 18. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 13-2. Hickory won 10-0 in their recent league test against Oil City (Oil City, PA)
