The Deerfield Warriors topped the visiting Waukegan Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 13-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vernon Hills for a Central Suburban North test on Tuesday, May 17. Deerfield will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 25-8.
The Bulldogs (9-22) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Bears enter the North Suburban challenge with a 8-26 record. In their last challenge, Lake Zurich was dropped by Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
