Illinois High School Volleyball - Plainfield North can't hold off Plainfield East

In Monday's league battle, the host Plainfield East Bengals volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Plainfield North Tigers.

The Bengals (29-5) will now prepare for their battle against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes come into the non-league battle with a 25-9 record. In their last battle, York was edged by Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
