The crowd at Monday's non-league game between the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) and the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), saw Benet Academy's lacrosse team top Metea Valley by a margin of 18-6.
The Redwings (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 3-14 record. In their last game, Vernon Hills was overwhelmed by Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL), 11-7, in a non-league game.
The Mustangs (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Huskies enter the DuPage Valley game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Naperville North was overwhelmed by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 27-18, in a non-league game.
