Next, the Eagles confront the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 19. Wilkes Central will attempt to better on its 18-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 9-0 non-league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC).
The Yellowjackets now have a 7-9 record.
