Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Pilgrim bounces Ponaganset

The Pilgrim Patriots triumphed over the host Ponaganset Chieftains lacrosse team by a score of 17-3 in Monday's league match.

With the win, Pilgrim upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Rogers (Newport, RI) to confront the Vikings in a Division 3 contest on Wednesday, May 18. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 3-11. Rogers lost 19-6 in their recent league contest against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)

The Chieftains now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Country Day for a contest on Wednesday, May 18. Ponaganset will confront a Knights squad coming off a 13-4 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Knights record now stands at 10-3.
